WORLD FLAG
Once we get passed the conflictuous notion of nations, we might need a flag to represent humanity as a whole.
The World Flag is the end result of a visual deconstruction of all national flags in the world. Flags have:
- shapes
- type of shapes
- areas
- area colours
- pictures
- picture form
- picture elements
- orientation
- aspect ratio height/width
Counting this for the flags of all 195 souvereign states and weighing each result according to population size, we end up with a new set of visual properties for the World Flag:
One (type of) shape: a rectangle. Three areas, and two colours. The top-3 colours are: 1.red 2.white 3.green. One picture, star-shaped, consisting of 4 elements ('north east south west'). The orientation is horizontal, with an aspect ratio of 0,64.
From these properties, the World Flag follows logically. This is—aesthetically—the most acceptable flag for humanity.
